Biography
Born in 1978, I graduated in 2001 from the University of Glasgow with a first class Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree (with honours) in Electronic and Software Engineering. During this first degree, I worked as a product development software engineer for GE Harris Network Solutions (formerly GE Harris Energy Control Systems) in Livingston, Scotland and in Melbourne, Florida, United States of America.
I am currently a member of the Microsystem Technology Research Group at the University of Glasgow, where I am working towards the achievement of a PhD degree. My research
interests include solid state based sensors and actuators, silicon based integrated sensor systems, and biomedical engineering. At the moment, the focus of my research work is to develop integrated sensor array devices for the analysis of cell tissue.
I am a student member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
