We have a number of current, collaborative research projects.

We have close links with Kelvin Nanotechnology particularly in AFM probe development and nano fabrication.

Our carbon nanotube-AFM probe work is in collaboration with the Electrochemistry and Interfaces group at Warwick University.

Our thermal AFM is funded as part of the EC FP7 MORGaN project a consortium of 24 universies and companies throughout Europe.

Research into hyperlithography is supported by Vistec semiconductor systems.

We are collaborating with Prof. Duncan Gregory and Dr. Bostjan Bezensek on the growth and characterisation of novel materials.

We are researching novel bio-inspired materials in collaboration with Prof. Maggie Cusack in Geology, Dr. Andy Freer in Chemistry, Dr. Huabing Yin and Dr. Nikolaj Gadegaard in Electronics.

Current SNOM research is being carried out as part of the Snomipede collaborative project.
