Each of the crystal illustrated can be built by downloading the associated control file and for a few of the crystals, also the template files. To build these crystals you must have downloaded the program (version 1.02d or later) of Translight and have installed a virtual reality plug-in for your web browser. For the zipped files you must unzip the archive file place all the
cell.dat files into the template directory, and the control.dat file in the same
directory as the Translight executable. The examples that include template files
demonstrate the power of crystal templates, see the localized defect in the
square lattice and the VCSEL files !!! For further information see the program
